Elementary children

Led by Vonna Hunter, our children explore, enjoy and learn from  different workshops:

• Our art center where creative expression a notch above paper crafts awaits the imagination of every child
• Music and song to enrich the lives of each child.
• Christmas and Easter plays that get the children involved in acting and fun!

Children's Moments at the Charleston United Methodist Church

We know that children stay in the church longer if they worship with their parents. We also know that children are frequently bored in worship even though we try to teach them what worship is all about.  Children have a special time in our worship services to enjoy a unique understanding and joy tailored especially for them. 

After these Moments, children kindergarten ages and younger may go to child care where our nursery staff provide excellent supervision.
